PSPgo
Today marks the official launch of the PSPgo and the reviews are mixed. I was fortunate enough to be one of the first Canadians to try the go, months before it’s release, and I loved it. Unfortunately not everyone is a fan and claim that the go is the final nail in the PSP coffin.
I personally feel that couldn’t be further from the truth. I think the go is going to not only be an amazing outlet for PSN exclusive games like pain and pixel junk but it will also serve as a portable console to play PSX classics like FF7 and Metal Gear Solid.
Sure I already own a PSP that can do everything the go does, except slide open but I know for a fact that I will be double dipping and buying a go because it is a sleeker, lighter system that will make portable gaming cheaper in the long run because you no longer have to buy bulky umd’s, meaning no more charges for shipping, packaging and so on. Not to mention that I am a complete geek and I just want one.
